Emily & Joshua

After first meeting at a gig back in May 2012, it wasn’t until October of that same year, when Emily & Joshua were both working at the same shopping centre and both newly single, that they started to get to know each other.

After a short but complicated courtship they officially became a couple in January 2013…fast forward to four months later they moved in together and the rest is history!

In November of 2016 Josh arranged a surprise trip to Prague, which happens to be their favourite city to travel to. After a very wet and grey first day the weather finally cleared up and they took an early morning stroll through the city to their favourite spot, Střelecký ostrov (Shooters Island) on the Vltava River. 

It was a crisp November morning with blue sky and copper coloured leaves adorning the island’s trees. At the very end of the island, overlooking the famous Charles Bride, Josh managed to distract Emily from taking selfies long enough to pop the question. 

The rest of the day was a cocktail of emotions, exploring, celebrating, and rocking out at a While She Sleeps gig, before ending the day drinking Bollinger champagne in a hot bubble bath.
