Marianne & John

Marianne and John met on Instagram in 2015! They began following each other’s account being that they had mutual friends and of course everything started with some ‘likes’ and comments back and forth. At the time, Marianne was living in Philly and John in Seattle but on July 21st, 2015 Marianne sent John a DM asking if he would like to visit her in Philly so of course John bought that ticket and met up with her asap! (literally not even a week after) They consider July 21st to be their anniversary date being that from that day forward not a day went by without them being in constant communication with each other.

Marianne moved to Seattle in August of 2016 and in March 2017, during her birthday vacation in Palm Springs, John popped the question and the rest is history…Just as Marianne told us, they consider themselves to be “each others best friend, partner in crime and the one and only true love” So cheers to Marianne & John (and Instagram!)
