The Colors of Gold Casting

Gold is a timeless and loved metal by a lot of people around the world! It can take on various hues through the art of alloying (mixing metals). Here is a quick summary of how we achieved the gold color for our yellow, rose, and white gold:

Yellow Gold:
Yellow gold, which is definite a classic favorite, achieves its warm glow through a blend of pure gold, copper, and silver. The copper adds strength and a reddish tint, while the silver contributes to the overall brilliance of this traditional metal.

Rose Gold:
For a romantic, warm, and rosy touch, enter rose gold. This enchanting hue results from combining gold with a higher percentage of copper than yellow gold. The increased copper content creates the distinct blush that defines this elegant metal.

White Gold:
A more modern and cool aesthetic look would be in my opinion white gold. This mix typically features gold, nickel, and palladium or zinc. The addition of these elements imparts a silvery sheen, mimicking the appearance of platinum.

Each alloy has its unique charm, making gold a versatile canvas for jewelry that suits diverse tastes and styles. Whether it's the warmth of yellow, the romance of rose, or the contemporary allure of white there is sure to be one gold color out there for everybody!
