Crafting an Anniversary Ring
The most common design for an anniversary ring is a band-style ring featuring a row of gemstones or diamonds. This type of anniversary ring is often referred to as an eternity ring. Here are some characteristics of the most common anniversary ring design:
Band Style: Anniversary rings typically have a band-style design, featuring a continuous row of gemstones or diamonds encircling the entire ring. The band can be made of precious metals like gold or platinum.
Gemstones or Diamonds: The gemstones or diamonds used in an anniversary ring can vary based on personal preference and budget. Popular choices include diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, or a combination of gemstones. Diamonds are the most common choice due to their durability and timeless appeal.
Prong Setting: The gemstones or diamonds in an anniversary ring are often set using prongs. Prongs are small metal claws that hold the stones securely in place while allowing maximum light exposure to enhance their brilliance.
Channel Setting: Another common setting for anniversary rings is the channel setting, where the gemstones or diamonds are set in a channel within the band. This setting offers a smooth and sleek appearance, providing a protective and secure setting for the stones.
Shared Prong Setting: In a shared prong setting, adjacent gemstones or diamonds share the same prong, which minimizes the amount of metal visible between the stones. This setting allows for a more continuous and flowing look.

Two of my favorite ways to enhance an anniversary ring (or any other ring for that matter) would be:
1) adding an engraving with a quote or words that mean a lot to each other
2) setting birthstones inside the ring representing each person’s birth month, it is something that is not seen when worn but gives it an extra special meaning that only the couple will know about.
Personalized Touches: Some couples choose to add personal touches to their anniversary rings, such as engraving the inside of the band with meaningful dates, initials, or a special message.
